This page is where we will post important announcements and information about the upcoming special events and traditions particular to Brooklawn's eighth grade...the Class of 2023!

MEDIEVAL TIMES The eighth grade trip to Medieval Times will be on the evening of Friday March 24, 2023. The trip cost - including transportation, show, and dinner - will be $65.00. Permission forms will go out in all 8th grade Advisory sections on Wednesday January 4, and are due back completed and signed to Mr. Miller in Room B-16 will full payment (check payable to Brooklawn Middle School) by Thursday January 26. We look forward to returning to Medieval Times after THREE long years!

DORNEY PARK The eighth grade trip to Dorney Park will be on Thursday June 8, 2023. Bus lists and seating assignments will be posted a few days before the trip.

LAST BLAST DANCE The eighth grade Last Blast Dance will take place on Friday June 16, 2023 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the Brooklawn Cafeteria. CLICK HERE for more information about this traditional class celebration in 2022 to get an idea of what to expect; this will be updated in Spring 2023. More information will be posted in Spring 2023.

MOVING-UP CEREMONY The Moving Up Ceremony is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Parsippany Hills Athletic Field on Monday June 19, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.  Parents will need to order a gown online in February, or alternately borrow a gown from a prior Brooklawn ceremony AND bring that gown in for inspection.  Gowns will be delivered to Brooklawn in early June; a pick up date will be scheduled and announced by Ms. Stout through School Messenger.
