COVID 19 Parent Resources

Dear Parents and Students,

We in the Brooklawn Middle School Counseling department understand the profound ways in which all students, parents, and staff have been affected by the recent global pandemic.

Students' lives were abruptly changed and disrupted in mid-March, with little warning and no time to prepare.  Middle schoolers are suddenly adjusting to online school, physically isolating from friends, and fearing for their health and safety and that of their family members.

Parents are faced with additional stressors during this time.  Working from home, while maintaining a household, fearing the virus, and helping children learn remotely, are all part of an unprecedented and unnerving challenge parents never imagined.

Your school counselors are here to assist you.  Although we are not physically present in school, we can support you from a distance.  Please reach out to us by email if you need any type of support.

Please take advantage of some of the resources below to help you.
